Megadump below.
I did have a huge hangover that day so these aren't the best shots I've ever taken, but it's still a fun little coverage of the event.
Upon arriving I was greeted by some friendly faces.
Lots and lots of friendly faces.
Some even had names!
I didn't get to see them race unfortunately.
Sudden Esperit!
I arrived just as the Kia Lotos race came to an end. A Russian racing series that somehow landed in Zandvoort that day. Suprisingly nice sounding cars.
The best race I saw that day was the Truck Battle.
Lots of weight.
Cool oddball trucks.
Close racing.
And a lot of diesel smoke!
Some of these trucks apparently ran over a 1000hp.
Slight truck oppo.
Bigger truck oppo.
Lots of understeer.
ROLLIN' COAL!
Power oversteer.
He actually managed to power out of this.
Damn protogs!

Now this is #STANCED I can get behind!
Giving it a nice clean before the race later that day.
Oh yeah.. something about a GT3 race that was still going on.
He seemed to have had a little moment..
Dissapointed driver
Time for the Burando Open. As the open suggests this meant a lot of random cars on track. Among them this lovely turbocharged 944.
This race was basically Steffbait.
I love that this is actually still being raced. Never expected to see this car in person, let alone see it going around a track!
Oh did I mention the sedan was out on the track too!

The car was parked in Parc Ferme with the gate doors open at this angle. Almost perfect late afternoon light! Love how the picture turned out. (Though I'll admit that that is the only picture I adjusted the tones a little in photoshop. But the framing is basically what you saw if you walked past the gate!)

Don't know. Zandvoort tends to trow a lot of different racing series together for holidays. They do the same with Easter.
Missed half of the series because I was late/had to leave fairly early though. There was also a MX-5 spec race, a Lotus cup and a Ferrari race.

Yup. there were 2 dys of races. The busy Monday which was €20,- entry. Or the quiter Saturday on which you could take pictures without a bazillion people standing in the way and get close to cars without crowds for €7,-.. Not a very difficult choice :P

Yes they do! I saw one that was keeping up with 750hp Trans Am Mustang!
